Our client have the local restaurant and bar located in Auckland new zealand. He has lots local people come to having meal at restuarent. He needs a responsive website where his customers can book their table so they no need to wait for their turn and they can enjoy their food. The new customer can also see the menu and the address of the restaurant and bar.

From the competitive analysis done above, the following pain points or goals has been set for the Ambrosia :

  • Overcome the problems(long queue, waiting for the table) people are facing
  • User Friendly reservation form
  • Reservation will be answer by the email so the email should be deliver and receive accurately both user side as well as customer side
  • The clear picture of menu
  • Attractive picture of dishes

To do complete research about the project I went through various steps and processes before I started implementing the project and that helped me understand the main needs of my user and create high quality products. Next, I used all of the qualitative data I gathered during the research process and also created a persona.

I created a low-fidelity prototype of the desktop site. I created a UI requirements document to outline all of the features and elements I wanted to incorporate into the design.

At this point in the process, I began thinking about how the website would look and feel to visitors. I came up with a series of descriptive words that captured the essence of the Aajivan website : Fresh, modern, quality, affordable, colorful. With these adjectives in mind, I created mood boards where I collected typography, logos, and color schemes that aligned with my vision for Ambrosia.
