THE SUMMARY

Pet World understand that pet is a part of the family. At this store user can find a great selection of pet food, treats, toys, accessories and more. Pet World have the largest retail operations to providing families with food and supplies for dogs, cats, companion birds, wild birds, fish, reptiles and small animals.


COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

Following websites has been taken for the competitive analysis before designing the Pet World :

Zoobio

  • Zoobio is a mobile app in witch user can buy stuff for thier pets
  • The application do have complex hierarchy design due to a large variety of products but UI of this app is not so much attractive
  • Further, they have the feature in which user can chat with online service centre  but there is a delay in replay. So, the use has to wait for the replay‍

PetSmart

  • In PetSmart app provide pet food and products and offers unique pet services including training, pet grooming, boarding, PetSmart Doggie Day Camp and in-store pet adoptions.
  • The website provides good UI with some decent animation and graphics
  • But, it provide lots of services so at some point user get confuse
  • In my , they have to reduce the services and make the flow of app easy to understand

AppointmentPlus

  • I feel it's a pretty user-friendly system but the look and feel of the web and app is a bit outdated. It definitely needs to be updated
  • It has a bit of a learning curve. It took some trial and error to perfect use
  • Does not work well with some devices. Especially , androids Costumer service takes long to respond

PROJECT GOAL

From the competitive analysis done above, the following main points or goals has been set for the Aajivan :

  • The home page should provide a clear picture of the services and Products
  • User should be able to search the products for thier pets
  • UI should be attractive
  • The flow of the app should be smooth and error free
  • Genrated bill includes tax shipping charges (if the bill is under $50)
  • User can track their order online by order id

PERSONA

The design of the website was created by keeping Madison in mind who want every pet accessory at one place


Mid-Fidelity Wireframes

I began the process of Mid-Fidelity wireframing. During this process, I thought about how the layout and content could be structured to satisfy user and business goals in a technically feasible way. I chose served as a guide for my digital wireframes


MOOD BOARDS

At this point in the process, I began thinking about how the website would look and feel to visitors. I came up with a series of descriptive words that captured the essence of the Aajivan website : Fresh, modern, quality, affordable, colorful.With these adjectives in mind, I created mood boards where I collected typography, logos, and color schemes that aligned with my vision for Aajivan.

The logos were added to the Style Guide and UI Kit, a comprehensive collection of all site components and UI patterns. Both documents are constantly changing as the website and brand grow.


HIGH FIDELITY WIREFREAMS

I applied the branding to my mid-fidelity wireframes. With all of the visual details added, the were fully fleshed out.
